Blessed Are the Merciful — Matthew 5:7

The blessed life is finding our satisfaction in Christ and longing for God to make right what sin has made broken, in us and around us.

Lesser things can dull our hunger, but tasting Christ’s goodness and mercy deepens it. Those who hunger are filled, and at the same time, God keeps growing our appetites for more.
