Book of Colossians Week 8 — Colossians 3:1-4
May 31, 2026 • Joe Jewell
The resurrection of Jesus does not simply inspire believers. It redirects every part of life.
Through our union with Christ, we have died with Him, been raised with Him, and our lives are now hidden with Christ in God. In a world searching for identity in success, suffering, politics, or approval, the gospel reminds us that our truest identity is found in Christ alone.
Paul calls believers to seek the things above and set their minds on Christ. Resurrection life reshapes not only what we believe, but what we pursue.
And because Jesus rose from the dead, suffering, sin, and death will we have a future hope that is meant to redirect how we wait. One day, when Christ appears, His people will appear with Him in glory.
